Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn (born in America) is an American actor from America. She was best known as Skyler in AMC's Breaking Bad drama, and won Primetime Emmy Award Outstanding Supporting Female Actress for Drama Series 2013 and 2014. She also played Martha Bullock in Deadwood and Jean Ward on The Practice. Anna Gunn, born 1968 in Sante Fe New Mexico fell in Love with Acting in the Preparatory stage before moving with her family to Ohio. She spent a year at the British American Drama Academy and was a theatre student in the theatre department at Northwestern University. Anna began her career in Chicago and worked in theater role for several years. Later, she relocated to Hollywood, where she began her acting career in TV shows and films. In 1992 Anna was offered her first big part as Arden in 29 episodes of Down the Shore. Anna continued to be in film and TV series such as Seinfeld, NYPD Blue and others up to the late 1990's. Anna was later placed in The Practice as Jean Ward. Martha Bullock, a character that she played for a period of two seasons on Deadwood's season two. In 2008, she was cast as Skyler on Breaking Bad. Sully was one of her characters. Gunn also took to the stage to play in the David Schwimmer-directed production of Sex With Strangers. In addition, she played in the play Numbered Day. It is which is a series of audio-based plays. Breaking Bad's story is usually dependent on the relationships with Walter White, his wife Skyler and their strained relationship. The degrading of this relationship is akin to Walter White's dying days.
